Photograph album assembled by Hollis Baker and sent out as a Christmas gift in 1938.  The photos show images from his trip to Italy.  The album also contains a letter from Hollis.

History

Hollis Baker, Jr. was born on 4-27-1916 in Allegan County, MI to Hollis and Ruth Baker. Hollis, Jr. grew up in Grand Rapids, MI. His wife was Betsy Brown. Although his residence was located in grand Rapids, Holland city directories indicate that he had a home in Waukazoo, MI as well. Hollis worked for Baker Furniture, the company his father began. Hollis was an avid sailor and longtime member of the Macatawa Bay Yacht Club. Hollis passed away in 2014 in Florida. He was buried in Grand Rapids, MI.
