Lois (Bok) Kane was born in Forest Grove, Ottawa County, MI and graduated from Zeeland High. Lois married Alfred Kane on 6-24-1949 in Forest Grove. Al and Lois lived at 1680 West 32nd in Holland, MI (1958, 1966 city directories). Together Alfred and Lois raised six kids and ran a successful construction company.Al and his wife Lois were founding members of the First Presbyterian Church. Al was also a Scoutmaster for many years. In 1961 he was given the "Silver Beaver" award for distinguished service.
Lois passed away on 12-2-2021. Al passed away on 2-25-2018.
