Letter and envelope dated March 26, 1945 to William Vande Water from Holland Hitch offering him a job as Personnel Director. Included in the envelope was a contract dated June 22, 1929 between William Vande Water and the Ottawa Allegan Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Randall P. "Randy" Vande Water was a local historian and newspaper editor. He spent 4 decades at the Holland Sentinel working as sports editor, city editor, editorial page editor, and managing editor.
