Description
Letter from Don Schram to William Vande Water dated October 29, 1947. There was some confusion about William's position as correspondent and his submission of a story about a drowning and a related story submitted by another correspondent. Mr. Schram informed William how both correspondents would be paid.

Randall P. "Randy" Vande Water was a local historian and newspaper editor. He spent 4 decades at the Holland Sentinel working as sports editor, city editor, editorial page editor, and managing editor.
