There appears to be about eleven women, but these women whose faces can be seen are identified from left as: Mary McLean, Ruth Japping, Caroline Drnek, Lois Timmer, Ella Dyk, Jane Van _____, and Sally Diekema.

Randall P. "Randy" Vande Water was a local historian and newspaper editor. He spent 4 decades at the Holland Sentinel working as sports editor, city editor, editorial page editor, and managing editor.
