History
Henry Poll was born on 6-8-1899 in Allegan Co., MI. He married Jennie Bosman (1902-1991) in Hamilton, MI on 6-8-1926. They lived in Holland, MI at 353 East 6th Street (1953, 1966 city directories).

Henry was co-owner of the Holland Transplanter Company. He was also a collector of antique automobiles. His first antique auto was a 1924 Stanley Steamer, purchased in 1951. His oldest automobile was a 1902 Nash Rambler. His most distinguished automobile was a Rolls Royce convertible that was custom built in 1931 for the actor John Barrymore.
Henry and Jennie operated the Poll Museum of Transportation, originally located on US 31 3 miles south of Holland, MI. In 1965 they moved to a new location along US 31, this time the museum was 5 miles north of Holland.

Henry passed away in Holland, MI on 6-10-1992.
