History
The Tulip City/West Michigan Regional Airport is located on the south side of Holland, MI along East 64th Street and Lincoln Avenue. It was created on farm land by area resident Gradus Geurink in 1942.

In 1965 the runway was expanded to 3,500 feet. This allowed larger planes to use the airport, increasing its use by local businesses.
