Metal corporate seal, red base with silver handle. On one side is a decal with the manufacturer's name, "DWIGHT & M.H. JACKSON".The seal is round and reads "J & J MACHINE AND TOOL COMPANY" around the outer edge. In the center are the words CORPORATE SEAL".
The box that the seal came in is cardboard, greenish-blue with attached lid. In white letters throughout the box the following words appear "Make it OFFICIAL".
History
J & J Machine & Tool Company (1966-1998) was located in Holland Charter Township at 308 Garden Ave. The "J & J" stood for the business owners, Bob Jacobs, Sr and Larry Jackson.J & J Machine & Tool Company had a grinding department, a mill room, an inspection facility and more where they designed machinery, controls and tools.
