Description
A postcard showing River Ave. looking north from 9th Street in Holland, Michigan. The Jas. A. Brouwer store front advertises "Furniture & Carpets." The street is shared by a bike, horse-drawn wagon and cars. The Interurban tracks can be seen running down the middle of the road.
History
Randall P. "Randy" Vande Water was a local historian and newspaper editor. He spent 4 decades at the Holland Sentinel working as sports editor, city editor, editorial page editor, and managing editor.
