Description
Letter, hand-written, one page, dated 12-18-1893. This letter was written to the Board of Public Works (City of Holland) by H.G. Hanson. In the letter Hanson is trying to get a job with the city as an electrical engineer, or, as he put it, "an engineer for the electric light".

A Hans G. Hanson appears in the 1897 Holland city directory. This may very well be H.G. Hanson.
