Yearbook, 1976-1977 E.E. Fell Junior High Echo, red cover with red lettering, 79 pages. On the inside of the book the name Vida A. Harper appears.Mrs. Vida Harper (1925-1992) taught math at E.E. Fell. She was hired in 1953 with 5 years prior teaching experience. Vida came from Lexington, IL with a B.S. degree from Illinois State Normal University.
History
This yearbook was donated by Dorothy Bradish, a resident of Holland, MI and English teacher at E.E. Fell Junior High in Holland for nearly 30 years.Dorothy was born ca. 1925 in Chicago, IL and grew up in Ottawa, IL. In 1954 she moved to Holland, MI to begin her teaching career. Dorothy passed away in 2008.
Egbert E. Fell (1874-1958) served as superintendent of Holland Public Schools from 1910 to 1945. In 1955 the junior high building in Holland was named after E.E. Fell. E.E. Fell Junior High School was made up of two buildings located 372 South River Ave (main E.E. Fell building) and 96 West 15th (E.E. Fell west building).
