Description
A postcard of the Government Clock shown at the Netherlands Museum in Holland, Michigan.  The clock was first displayed at the Netherlands Pavillion at the 1939 World's Fair in New York City.  The Netherlands government did not want to have it returned to their country as Germany had just invaded them, they asked the Netherlands Information Service Bureau in Holland, Michigan to take it.  It was later gifted to the Museum.
The figures on the clock represent the government in the Netherlands with the Queen at the top and military and workers at the bottom.
