Description
This is a promotional pamphlet for Genuine Ford Battery. The cost of the battery was $16.50. The battery was sold by Holleman-Deweerd Auto Company located at 23-25 W. 7th Street. This seems to be in the early 1920's according to the Holland City Directory of 1921.
History
This item is from the archival collection of Henry John Wiggers. Henry John Wiggers was a local postal worker. Henry was born May 12, 1891, and died August 21, 1984, he is buried in Graafschap Cemetery. He was married to Johanna Cornelia Van Herwynen, they married June 22, 1932. According to the 1930 census Henry lived in Laketown Township.
