Description
An advertising brochure for the Improved 1928 Snow-Bird mailman's special, ca. 1928. This machine was marketed to rural mail carries. This machine attachment was for Ford trucks. It has skis for the front and tracks about four rear tires.
History
This item is from the archival collection of Henry John Wiggers. Henry John Wiggers was a local postal worker. Henry was born May 12, 1891, and died August 21, 1984, he is buried in Graafschap Cemetery. He was married to Johanna Cornelia Van Herwynen, they married June 22, 1932. According to the 1930 census Henry lived in Laketown Township.
