A book titled, The Sheriff, Bernard "Bud" Grysen, 1959-1979 written by his wife Angeline in 1995. Bud Grysen joined the Ottawa County Sheriff's department when he was 21 years old. He became the youngest elected sheriff in Michigan five years later. He served in that capacity for 20 years.
