Heber Walsh was born in Lansingburg, NY on 10-19-1830. He came to Holland, MI in 1858. Within a few years he had started his own general store.Heber would later turn his attention to his store's drug stock, expanding his product line and serving the community as a druggist. His drug store was located at 25-27 East 8th in Holland.
Heber was instrumental in establishing the Grace Episcopal Church in Holland. He served on the Harbor Board and was director of the Walsh-De Roo Milling Company in Holland.
Heber lived in Holland with his wife, Margaret Ingraham Walsh (1832-1911), at 42 East 9th Street. They had two children: Walter C.; and, Francis I.
Heber passed away in Holland on 9-8-1905.
