Description

This is a four-page story written by Randy Vande Water on September 22, 2000. He writes about the premier, September 25, 1942, of a full-length Hollywood movie based on the tulip festival. Inspiration was taken from photographs and interviews of local citizens. The movie was titled, "Seven Sweethearts."
In the file is this four-page story, a one-page summary and a picture of four of the start in Dutch costumes scrubbing the street.

Randall P. "Randy" Vande Water was a local historian and newspaper editor. He spent 4 decades at the Holland Sentinel working as sports editor, city editor, editorial page editor, and managing editor. ;
