Description
A postcard saying, Sheeza Pippin says, When one hasn't a thing to write about, they send a postcard. Sent to John Wiggers in June 1917(?). There is a image of a character in a blue plaid skirt and bonnet sitting at a desk.
History
This item is from the archival collection of Henry John Wiggers. Henry John Wiggers was a local postal worker. Henry was born May 12, 1891, and died August 21, 1984, he is buried in Graafschap Cemetery. He was married to Johanna Cornelia Van Herwynen, they married June 22, 1932. According to the 1930 census Henry lived in Laketown Township.
