History
This postcard belonged to Lois Sinke. It was among the many antiques for sale in her Antique Hobby Shop/Old Store at 49 West 8th Street in Holland, MI. After her death on 8-5-1988, the postcard became part of her estate and was given to the Netherlands Museum (the Holland Museum since 1992).Lois E. Van Landegend was born in Holland, MI on 2-18-1912 to Tyler Van Landegend and Ada Bellany. The US Census from 1920, 1930 and 1940 show Lois residing in Holland. On 9-8-1944 she married Frank Sinke in Holland, MI.
