Description
A book entitled, "Valuable Documents" given by Metropolitan Life Insurance Co to William Vande Water to hold his insurance documents. No documents are in the pockets, however an assortment of various documents are folded up and included. Two copies of the front page of the Grand Rapids Press, one about Randy Vande Water's accident when he was 11 years old and one about William Vande Water becoming a reporter. There are several documents about Randy's accident and early teaching contracts for William.

Randall P. "Randy" Vande Water was a local historian and newspaper editor. He spent 4 decades at the Holland Sentinel working as sports editor, city editor, editorial page editor, and managing editor.
