Description
An envelope and two notes sent to "Andy Vande Water" from a friend in Holland dated November 26, 2001. One note tells Randy how many days until Christmas because it is no longer printed in the Holland Sentinel. The other note was about an article written by Case Van Kampen in the paper the previous week.

Randall P. "Randy" Vande Water was a local historian and newspaper editor. He spent 4 decades at the Holland Sentinel working as sports editor, city editor, editorial page editor, and managing editor.
