Description
This item is a brown envelope containing many negatives. On the back side of the envelope is written a list that probably describes the negatives inside. "Bank holdup; Country Club House and Course; Soldiers Monument cemetery; Drinkwater; oil drilling equipment; Grandma V. Water and Randy" plus other items. On the front side of the envelope the list is continued, "Highwater and Waukazoo Trail" plus other items.
History
Randall P. "Randy" Vande Water was a local historian and newspaper editor. He spent 4 decades at the Holland Sentinel working as sports editor, city editor, editorial page editor, and managing editor.
