Greeting cards from donation 2023.60 were made by Dody Visscher Fredrickson. Art and Helene are Art Visscher and Helene Winter Visscher, parents of Dody.Dody was born on August 25, 1918 to Helene Keppel Visscher and Art Visscher. She grew up in Holland, MI and remained here her entire life. Dody married Paul Fredrickson in Holland on 4-12-1944. They had two children: Sara and Paul.
Dody was an art teacher, teaching for many years at West Ottawa High School. She died on July 14, 2005 and was buried in Pilgrim Home.
Art A. Visscher (1886-1969) and his wife, Helene Keppel Visscher (1888-1970), lived in Holland, MI at 683 North Shore Drive in Park Township. Helene was born on July 2, 1888 in Michigan to Bastian Keppel (1862-1932) and Anna Van Raalte (1862-1947). Arthur was born to Arend Visscher (1849-1921) and Annie Vander Sluis (1855-1926) in Holland, MI on 4-30-1886.
Arthur attended Hope College, worked at the Ottawa Furniture Company (after the Great Depression, he worked at Northwest Mutual Life Insurance), attended Hope Church and, was a member of the Century Club.
