Description
A photograph of Willard C. Wichers (left) and H.R. Walker (right) looking at the Netherlands clock as it arrives in 1939. On the back is written, "$7,000 clock, ____ thing turns, some figures move." This photograph is used in a Holland Sentinel article shown as 2019.1.1936.
History
Randall P. "Randy" Vande Water was a local historian and newspaper editor. He spent 4 decades at the Holland Sentinel working as sports editor, city editor, editorial page editor, and managing editor.
