History
Ann Elizabeth "Betty" (Watson) Mulder was born March 10, 1930, in Chicago, IL She was the only child of Willard Roden and Elaine (Jenkins) Watson. After her graduation from South Shore High School in Chicago in 1947 Betty moved to Holland, MI to attend the Holland Business Institute. She graduated from Hope College with a BA in English in 1952. In 1958, she graduated from Northwestern University with an MA in Educational Psychology. Betty was a resident of the Holland and Saugatuck starting in 1947. She married Warren Mulder in 1976. She taught Spanish in the Holland and Saugatuck Public Schools, Hope College, and West Ottawa Community Education for over 42 years. Betty died November 6, 2011.
