Description
The baby buggy has gray wood frame and handle, burgundy metal springs and axle.  Burgundy wood wheels with dark, silver-colored metal edge wrapped around wheel.  Silver-colored metal arms hold up the adjustable canopy.  Black leather seat.  Burgundy and gray fringe hangs from the canopy.
History
This baby buggy belonged to the family of Cornelius Ver Hulst (1859-1941) and Christina Wierda Ver Hulst (1861-1950). They were married in Blendon Township, Ottawa County, MI on 1-18-1882. They used the buggy with their children Anthonie (1886- ), Hendrik (1890-1995), Johannes (1892- ), Maria (1898- ) and Maatje (1901- ).
Cornelius and Christina lived in Drenthe, MI in the 1880s and 1890s. They lived in Zeeland, MI during the 1910's, 1920s and 1930s. Both are buried in Drenthe, MI in the East Drenthe Cemetery.

Hendrik married Jennie Klinesteker. They are the donor's parents. The donor, Cynthia Haveman, was born Cynthia Ver Hulst in Hamilton, MI in 1924. She married Melvin Haveman in Holland, MI on 10-21-1949.
