Greeting card, blue front with candles and pink flowers and caption "God Speed Your Recovery". Sent to Lydia Kragt from Gertrude Mouw (1907-1989) of 101 Lakewood Blvd, Holland, MI. Gertrude worked for many years as a teacher in the Holland area.
History
This card was sent to area resident Lydia Williams Kragt (1877-1956). Lydia broke her arm December 31, 1951 and received numerous greeting cards.
Lydia married Gerrit H. Kragt in Holland, MI on 4-27-1897. They had 9 children: Marie (1897- ); Art (1899-1949); Harold (1901-1985); Katherine (1904-1967); Esther (1907-1982); Hilda (1909- ); Glenn (1916-1986); Ruth (1918-2000); and Elmer (1921-1966). All 9 were born in Holland, MI.
