Description
Doll of a Dutch girl (2a). On its neck, in black print, is the following information: "Official Holland, Michigan Tulip Festival Doll May 13-18, 1991 By St. George Doll Company". The doll is wearing a white apron (2b), black stockings (2c-d), black underpants (2e), a white cap (2f), two wooden shoes (2g-h) and a black dress (2i) with floral designs on sections of red background.
History
This doll belonged to Holland, MI resident Doris C. Franklin Delke. Doris was born in Canada on June 10, 1917. She married Ed C. Delke (1914-2002). Both Doris and Ed worked at and retired from parke-Davis in Holland, MI. Doris died on 8-10-2015.
