History
Jeanne Gertrude Stroeve was born on December 24, 1895 in Holland, MI to Hendrikus Stroeve and Gezina Ensink. Jeanne lived in Holland from about 1911 to 1921, at one time working at the Van Tongeren Cigar Company. She moved to Lansing ca. 1923 and began a career working for the US Dept. of Agriculture. She was briefly married to Frank Leffler (1896-1974) from 1930 to 1938. Jeanne died on 2-6-1985 in Hudsonville, MI.
