Description
This box was used during the voting process in Holland Township, Michigan. On the top of the box, there is a slot where voters would cast their vote. There are also remnants of wax on top of the box. This was used to seal the box and prevent any tampering of the votes. Wax seals were often used throughout history to authenticate documents and seal shipped goods.
