History
The coin was donated by WIlliam Arendshorst. Mr. Arendshorst was born in Holland (Netherlands) in 1876. He came to the United States in the year 1890. He worked and lived in the city of Holland, Michigan as a manager of a truck company. He continued to be a community member up until his death, working as an eighth grade teacher in his later years. Most likely, he collected this coin to remind him of where he came from. He passed away in the late 1940's.
