Brown, wooden baby chair with wooden arms, four brown, wood stretchers, three brown, wooden spindles, brown top rail and brown seat. The seat contains a tan line design. The top rail has something painted on it, but fading has made identification uncertain.
This chair was used by donor's grandfather, an early Zeeland pioneer. Although the grandfather's name was never provided by John De Kruif (the donor), his grandfather's name may be Jannes 'James' Vande Luyster (1789-1862).
