Old museum records from 1937 show that objects in donation 1937.236 were part of an exhibit "from all parts of the world and date from about 1850 on".Laura Griffiths Everett (1878-1944) donated the objects. A Chicago native, Laura and husband John C. Everett (1862-1926) had a summer home in Waukazoo, MI.
