The donor, Lena Middlehoek Ver Hoef, is the daughter of Jan “John” Middlehoek.

Jan “John” Middlehoek was born in Holland, MI on 5-8-1861. He died in Holland, MI on 1-15-1925. He married Anna Ryzenga (1865-1950) May 21, 1884 in Holland, MI. They had at least three children: Lena; Henry; and, Peter.
