Clock, measuring twelve feet tall and six feet in diameter at the base, with a seven-tier pyramidal column surmounted by a figure of the queen.
On tier number one, the lowest tier, the people of the Netherlands are represented. Tiers two through six show the various governmental bodies (ministers of state, supreme court, houses of parliament, provincial states, commissaries of the queen and municipal government).
Figures on various tiers move as the Dutch National Anthem is played.
This clock was on display in the Netherland's Pavilion at the 1939 New York World’s Fair. It was designed by Prof. H. Rosse.
