Pair of Dutch ice skates used in the Netherlands by William Martinus.
History
These ice skates were used by the donor, William Martinus, in Netherlands. William Martinus was born in the Netherlands on 8-4-1893 to Ralph and Elizabeth Martinus. William married Anna Dykstra in Holland, MI on 9-19-1918. They lived at 245 West 19th Street in Holland (1921 and 1947 city directories). They had several children, including Ralph. Anna passed away in 1936.
