History
Presented to the Holland High School Band at ceremonies in Ontario on May 20, 1970. The ceremonies marked the 25th anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands from Nazi occupation. The instrument was once used by the Hitler Youth and was acquired by Dr. O.S. Akkerman during the liberation process. Dr. Akkerman was the Netherlands vice consul in Ontario.
