Yde was born May 12, 1831 in the Netherlands and died December 8, 1919 in Holland, MI.He is buried in Pilgrim Home Cemetery with his wife Klaasje “Clara” de Boer (1838-1902). They were married in the Netherlands in 1856.
They had the following children: Dirkje “Dora” (1856-1944); Neeltje (1859-1859); Gorrit (1861-1861); Gorrit (1862-1937); Neeltje (1865-1865); Neeltje (1866-1935); and Clara Kuite (1870-1928).
