History
Alice Brinkman was born in 1869 to Henry Brinkman (1838-1909) and Jane Klomparens Brinkman (1840-1925). The 1870 and 1880 US census shows the Brinkmans living in Laketown Township, Allegan County, MI.

Alice married Gerrit DuMez on 11/29/1893 in Graafschap, MI. The US census from 1900 and 1910 show Alice and Gerrit residing in Holland, MI. Over the following 20 years they would live in Laketown Township and Park Township. They had three children: Bertha; Henry; and, Mabelle.

Alice passed away in 1958.
