Doll belonged to the donor’s mother, Caroline Knoll. Mrs. Knoll visited the Netherlands in 1969. The doll was a gift from relatives, which Mrs. Knoll received during the visit.Caroline Bruik Knoll was born in the Netherlands on August 7, 1875. She died in May 1974 and was buried in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. She remained a Holland, MI resident for many years.
