Description
Two metal dog tags attached together by a metal loop.  The loop is attached to a chain.  The chain connects to a name tag.

The name tag is metal and displays the the following information: "Richard Martin/base Hosp 36/A.E.F.".

One dog tag is square, the other is circular in shape.  The circular dog tag contains the following information: "Richard Martin/Med. Dept./B.H.No. 36/U.S.R.".  The square dog tag contains the name "R. Martin" and "U.S.A.".
History
This object belonged to Richard Martin (1894-1974). He came to Holland in 1921. For the next 40 years, many of them at E.E. Fell, Junior High, Richard taught mechanical drawing. He married Grace Crowell in 1919. Richard served 18 months in France during WWI. Richard was a member of the Holland Exchange Club and the local Masonic Lodge.
