This item came from the province of Drenthe, Netherlands ca. 1900. It belonged to the donor's mother, Emma Van Noord Vande Bunte (1893-1991). Emma was born in Jamestown, Ottawa County, MI. She grew up in Jamestown (1900, 1910, 1920, 1930 US census). Later, Emma lived in Holland, MI at 86 West 11th (1942, 1945 city directories) and 214 W. 15th Street (1950, 1960 city directories).She married Dick Vande Bunte (1894-1952) in 1919 in Jamestown, Ottawa County, MI.
