John Van Vyven was born on 11-5-1877 in the Netherlands. He married Anna Bosch and lived in Holland, MI at 55 West 15th Street. The donor, Margaret Van Vyven, was one of his two daughters.John was the first leader of Holland's American Legion band.
John passed away on 1-26-1929 in Fillmore, MI and was buried in Pilgrim Home Cemetery in Holland.
