Description
Air meter, used by the donor at the Holland Furnace Company, consisting of the following parts:

a) black rectangular heavy metal gauge measures in hundredth inches of water draft; "Draft-rite" in raised lettering on front; on back are 2 holes- one is threaded for the inserting of (b,c)

b-c) 2 sections of tubing joined together, measuring 1/4" x 5"; distal end of aluminum tube is fitted onto the furnace with force of air shown on gauge; pring on back of instrument: "Bacharach - Draft tube. Close for zero check - Pittsburgh 8, PA USA"

d) black plastic pocket; snap closure.
History
This air meter belonged to Holland, MI resident Walter R. Kimberley.

Walter was born in Ohio on 3-7-1915. He married Helen Dill there and the couple honeymooned in Holland, MI. in 1939. They relocated to Holland soon after where Walter began his career in engineering with the Holland Furnace Company.

They lived at 204 West 20th in Holland (1942, 1952 city directories). The couple had three children: Philip, Donna and David. Walter passed away on 1-30-2011 in Holland, MI.
