Heavy black sateen type weave fabric apron; tightly gathered at waist band. Waistband extends 10 1/2 inches from apron; meant to be pinned in place.
History
Apron is part of costume from Zeeland, The Netherlands, was worn in the late 1800's by the donor's husband's grandmother who lived in Yerseke.
