Description
root cutter, used to top off onions, blade section is 6" long, middle section is used to compress the spring action, forcing the blades together.
History
Used by Holland, MI resident Mrs. Benita Garcia. Here is her Holland Sentinal obituary “Benita Garcia, 80, of Holland, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Hopsice House of Holland.
She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and the LAUP of Holland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Garcia on March 3, 1989, and a great-grandchild, Raymon Gaytan.
Surviving are children, Juanita Gomez of Holland, Elida and Ray Montez of Holland, Alicia Cortez of Florida, Juan Garcia of Jenison, Gilbert Garcia of Kentucky, Art and Teri Garcia of Fruitport, Mike Garcia of Holland; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Alfredo, Jesusita, Martin, San Juana, Petra, Ramona; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 195 W. 13th Street in Holland. Fr. Charlie Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., both at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis de Sales Church.
The family is being served by Lakeshore Memorial Services.
