Description
Small round deep pink hat with 2 inch wide circular plus band and pink net veil. Several small dots of varying sizes are attached to the veil. Label reads " Mr. Joel" c. 1950-early 60's
History
Hat worn by Henrika Ver Burg (1910-1994), mother of the two donor’s, Stan Ver Burg and Theresa Ver Burg Kleis. Henrika worked as a baker for the Hekman Rusk Company in Holland, MI. She lived at 311 West 22nd Street in Holland with her husband Gerrit (1903-1980). Both Henrika and Gerrit are buried in Holland’s Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
